Future Musubi Events

We hope to regularly host UK Olympic atheletes to share relevent aspects of Japanese Language and Culture. The Badminton Day is a good example of one of these events.

Each term we will hold a Musubi Day at Loughborough University. On these days puipils from specialists language schools around this area will be invited to come and join in with exclusive workshops which aim to improve the students knowledge on areas like: Japanese Culture, Japanese Traditional Sports, Japanese Diets and how they are different from ours.

We also hope to host social events to welcome the Japanese Olympic atheletes to the East Midlands region, the interaction with the Japanese Olympic hurdlers being a good forerunner to this.

We will be visiting Ajinomoto Olympic Training Centre in Tokyo annually. This began in October 2009 when we discussed the possibilities of the Musubi project and how we wanted it to progress.
