Welcome to the South Wolds Year 9 Japanese pages! Made by a multitude of year nines headed by Rebecca.

Japanese at our school is very much an inter-year thing. For instance, Josh and Lizzie (two Year 12s) run the Year 9 revision sessions.

When learning the hiragana alphabet, one of the things we used was mnemonics for each hiragana. Each hiragana was almost turned into a picture, with a story to go with it. Another thing some people may have used was a sheet, with hiragana on it, a word in Japanese starting with that hiragana, and a picture!
